The loud and immediate playing of this song will then create a reaction from the person you have rick-rolled which will tell you a lot about that person. I recommend doing this to your significant other in at least 10 different scenarios to gauge their reactions before you agree to be friends.)

1. In a social setting, use a computer and link it to a TV then play never gonna give you up on youtube.com or use this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ to get there. Watch if the person you've rick-rolled gets it.

2. While you are in the other room, text the other person that you want to show them something and then send a link to the Rick Astley video. Peek your head around the corner to see their reaction. If it isn't a smile, then you cant be friends anymore.

3. At someone's birthday party get a gift bag with a Rick Astley picture and the lyrics in it. Then give them a backup gift if they laugh. If they don't laugh, keep the other gift for yourself.
